About Me

What is Bolillo and Baguette?  A Bolillo (pronounced bow-lee-yo) is a type of savory bread traditionally made in Mexico.  It is a variation of the baguette, but shorter in length.  A Baguette (pronounced bag-et) is a long thin loaf of French bread distinguishable by its length and crisp crust.  Maria (pronounced mar-ee-ah) is a Mexican American girl with Paris in her heart.  And this blog is a tribute to all three of them.

Hello.  My name is Maria and this is my blog.  Here I hope you will find food ideas, good information and hopefully some laughter.  I will be giving my favorite Mexican food a French twist and vice-versa.  I am a chatter box and enjoying meeting people so please feel free to leave your thoughts.  It is a work in progress so please bear with any snafus that you may find.

Gracias and Merci,

Maria.
